Manners
You can tell that you have too many “friends” on facebook the day you experience being randomly insulted for conveying a writer’s block in a status update. I love being geeky, I find geeky people more fascinating, but I really don’t appreciate being called a nerd for expressing myself eloquently. And that by a scarcely literate, smoking drunkard of a teenage mum who can’t spell her name properly (try to remember that “c” now) or dress herself (I have that top too, and you’ve put it on the wrong way honey). What is the point of commenting on a person’s web 2.0 action if you’re not going to say something interesting, funny, or at the very least remotely nice? I should really try to be more realistic and actually make use of the ignore-function every once in a while… How it clashes with my self image though.
